On the Beach and Dreaming of Fall Fashion...

One of my favorite things about being on vacation is having time to catch up on reading all of my magazines. I have a huge stack that I have been saving up for the trip, the latest issues of Self, Real Simple, People's special Style issue, and Food & Wine. While I love to read a good book, there is something so relaxing about flipping through the pages of a magazine. So while everyone has been sitting at the beach with their books open I have been formulating my must have fashion list for fall. Don't get me wrong I am not by any means rushing summer but I LOVE fall clothes and this year I am in love with what will be some of the hottest trends.

Fall Fashion... New Obsesson J. Crew Socks

Over the weekend we were up in Massachusetts for a wedding and I had the opportunity to do a little shopping and couldn't resist the adorableness of J. Crew's new collection of ankle socks. I picked up a pack of the bright pink, yellow and turquoise. They are just so fabulous! I somehow missed the knee high and thigh high ones in the store, might have to get a couple pairs of those as well. Perfect way to transition my shorts and skirts into fall.

Fall Fashion... Bright, Bold, Shoes.

My new obsession for fall is bright, bold purple/blue shoes. I have started to make a list of must haves for fall and these have now officially moved to the top. I just can't decide which ones I love the most. I think the hottest color this season is going to be purple, every shade of purple. Which is about time! Purple I have missed you.
