Baby Chase, only 7 weeks old, was the youngest person to meet Martha and totally stole the show. After meeting Chase it was all business.
Yesterday one of my absolute favorite bookstores, RJ Julia, in Madison, CT hosted the amazingly talented, sophisticated, super creative, business savvy, Martha Stewart with the launch of her new book Cupcakes, 175 Inspired Ideas for Everyone's Favorite Treat. It doesn't get better than that. At 3:30 when Marissa and I arrived the line of ladies had already formed down the street, with an expected 400 people to come meet the fabulous Martha Stewart and to buy her latest book.
Cupcakes are back and they are better than ever. More and more brides are choosing to do cupcakes for their weddings, creating individual desserts, a great design element, and the perfect amount of whimsy. "People like treats that can be enjoyed in individual portions, and what is better than an individual little cake that fits neatly in the palm of your hand?"- Martha Stewart, Hartford Courant.
I just can't believe that there are 175 different varieties in this book. So many possibilities, the pages are filled with gorgeous images of cupcakes and recipes for every occasion. Can't wait to try them all!

I love RJ's! (i'm from Madison, tho, so maybe I'm a little biased) haha
LOVE that you all got to meet Martha in our mutual admiration for cupcakes, Chase, too! (And thanks for the link love!) xo
