Friday Wine Tasting...El Coto Rioja

Wine of the Week...
El Coto Rioja Crianza
$11.95

I couldn't wait to get to this point in the day today, my Friday wine tasting. It has been quite the week, meeting with fabulous new clients, gearing up for two big events, the Fairy Tale Ball and our Valentines Day Event at Chamard Vineyards on Feb. 6th, and tomorrow I am heading down to West Palm for the Wedding Party Event. Lots of fabulous things going on and keeping us super busy. So after a long week this red wine is the perfect way to wind down. It is a great Rioja from Spain... a cheapy but a goodie.

Tasting Notes: "Medium red. Shy nose slowly opens to display redcurrant and dried cherry, along with subtle vanilla bean and tobacco qualities. Light, gently sweet red fruit flavors are silky and smooth, with no obvious tannins or rough edges. Understated and nicely balanced, with good finishing lift and clarity. Fans of old-school Rioja should give this a spin." - City Wine Cellar
